Box Tops & UPC's on products

We're collecting for the Hopi Mission in Arizona

What are we collecting? Beth-El folks have been clipping the box tops and UPC's on food products for many years and sending them to the Hopi Mission. We received a note that new companies have been added, boosting the pace of collections. They also ask that we trim all labels and box tops before sending them.

Cut out the UPC and the picture of a boy in grad hat from these food products:

  • Campbell's
  • Franco American
  • Prego
  • Pepperidge Farm
  • Swanson and V8 products

Cut out the Box top only for these food products:

  • General Mills
  • Betty Crocker
  • Yoplait
  • Old El Paso
  • Pillsbury
  • Progresso
  • Totino's
  • Green Giant

Where should I put the UPC’s and box tops?  In the Tupperware container on the back wall at our Welcome Center.

When is this collection?  Ongoing

Why do we do this?  The school wrote,Two large boxes of processed labels were sent to Campbell’s recently and over 6,000 Box tops were sent to General Mills. With the labels, we accumulate credit like a bank statement. In exchange for the 6,000+ Box tops, we will receive a check for $600+. Our school participates in both Campbell's Labels for the Education and General Mills Box Tops for Education programs. By saving labels and box tops our school was able to receive a computer scanner, tether balls, an electric pencil sharpener, and almost $1000 cash during one school year. A few minutes of your time can make a big difference to our school.”
